MUD VOLCANISM ON MARS
Our
interest in mud
volcanoes extend to extra planetary studies. In cooperation with USGS,
we
recently completed a comparison study between Terrestrial and Martian
inferred
mud volcanoes supporting the hypothesis that piercements and
fluidization processes
are common events also on Mars
