Comments: The most coherent set of the tour. Tight, rocking
night. Loud, mighty, and brilliantly playful!
Highlights: Lots of exciting versions: Dora Peach, My
Best Friend, Superunreal, Close Your Eyes, Flick Of The
Wrist, STG, s' Numbness, 577.
I will let my initial "review" (or rather ramblings/feelings) written
the morning after the show guide you through this one, it's for sure a show
among the top four of the Love Cult tour:
- Good Dora, another good guitar/organ workout
- Good Serp, loud
- Good Sinful, even louder
- Good Best Friend, cool spaceout, but seen it even cooler.
- Great Stooge, amazing freakout and brilliant transition to the
- definitive, incredible Painting, slow, dark, dirty, heavy and
distorted
- Hypnotic Close Yr Eyes, beautiful
- Massive Überwagner
- Lovely Flick with a little piano during the last buildup
- Great STG, heavenly noisy
- Heavy Daemon [Custer], rumbling and thundering
- Tight Neverland
- Even tighter Numbness
- Overwhelming 577 with long ending
- Perfect Vortex, beautiful singing, beautiful guitars, perfect
timing, and dead silent audience....
What a set! What a performance! What a venue! The Halden legend lives
on!
