The BEST project was started in January 2000 by master students and researchers at the University of Oslo, Department of Informatics,
Industrial Systems Development.

The goals of the project are:

to be a stimulating and efficient work environment for Master Students with topics relevant for software effort estimation

to produce industry relevant research results

to produce a comprehensive library of research papers and books on software effort estimation.
