PhD. student, associated with the Research group for object-orientation, modelling, and languages, at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo. I'm also part time researcher at SINTEF Information and Communication Technology, Oslo.

My PhD Project

In my PhD project I do research on multi-resolution spatial data management. The main objective is to study models, formal languages and representations that are suitable for efficient and consistent managment of multi-resolution spatial and non-spatial data.

1998 - 1999 Course work and literature study, work on networks and terrain models.
In 2000 I spent a year at Keele University and visited Prof. Michael Worboys.
2001 work on resolution and dependencies.
2002-2003 worked at SINTEF ICT
2004 planned finish.
