This line up made their debut under the name Concrete Now with the 5'' "Things That I Love/These Times" in 1985. Tom Bratlie pulled out after this release and Concrete Now chose to remain a trio. They changed name to Lobster Combo and released the LP Into Ramadan With The Supreme Caddie in 1988. In the aftermath Lobster Combo entertained the idea of more live playing and enlisted Ole Bendik Eilertsen (guitar). Another name change ensued, this time to Lobster Copter. Lobster Copter released the CD There in 1994. "There" became a record where Lobster Copter paid their hommage to the 80s (not to mention 80s sound!), this as a response to the many 70s-inspired bands at the time. After the band disbanded in 1996, Rune Brøndbo has achieved fame on his own as the techno-act Sternklange, Kalle Gundersen has released For bread and liquor on Bajkal, while Harald Grenne is editor of the Oslo equivalent to Time Out, Natt og Dag.
