Picture of my hand made with self-built freehand 3D ultrasound software Triangular mesh textured with decals

I am working at the Centre of Mathematics for Applications (CMA), in quest of a PhD degree from the Department of informatics at the University of Oslo. I wrote my master's thesis at the Interventional centre at Rikshospitalet University Hospital, with the title Real time volume visualization for freehand 3D ultrasound.

My current research area is Geodesic Polar Coordinates on polygonal meshes, and decal texturing. During my time as PhD student, I have also been working on

  • Freehand 3D ultrasound
  • Parallel programming on GPUs
  • Wavelet decompositions on triangulations
