I
am studying the structure of inorganic materials down to the atomic level by
use of analytical transmission electron microscopes (TEM).
By combining imaging, diffraction and spectroscopy acquired in one experiment one can get unique insight to the
relation between structure, processing parameters and the physical and
chemical properties of the material studied. I have experience with a vide
range of different material systems, but focuses at the time being on energy
related materials (H-storage, solar cells, ionic and proton conductors) and
functional thin films. |
