Where is Durdle Door?
Introduction
Thing's have changed, and it
is time to move ahead, but no-one, (including myself) will ever do so
unless we pull together as a team. We must take everything into condideration,
step back and look again. Then perhaps we can move forward.
According to Publius we
are all closer than we think, so it seems like we have done something
right. But who, and what? What have we done that was right, and what
is wrong? No one here knows..but there must be a way to figure this
out. The debate on whether or not an actual "physical location" needed
to be visited has ended. This point was made clear by Publius in his
last post. One site has been visited by Steelbreze, but was it really
part of the solution to the riddle? Or was it simply coincidence? Was
the pre-victorian coin that he found a clue? If so how can we use this
in relation to the other clues?
These are all questions
that are is desperate need of answers. How in the world are we supossed
to know what is right and what is wrong? So much information has been
exchanged and it is virtually impossible to tell what is what. What
about the page numbers? The most important of them being the CBTL silhouette.
Why is the EMI number so cleverly hidden in the inside bottom left corner
of the left page? Why is it so much smaller than the others? Publius
says there is great significance in these numbers, then shortly afterwards
it is discovered that this smaller page number had been overlooked,
even by the guy who wrote the artwork differences file!
Also...Sean Heisler not
so long ago pointed out the "PE" penciled onto the hillside in the Columbia
CBTL art. I see it..and I strongly urge others who have not seen it
to take a closer look. Why the different angles in the two photos? Something
about the CBTL artwork makes me think that there is much more to it
than what we see. The 2 clues, as well as the 2 different photos are
certainly enough to make me wonder about the location of this photo
and the importance of this location. If the "PE" stands for what I think
it stands for then Publius has left his mark there for a reason. Why
would he tell us there is importance in the page numbers if there is
none? And why does the most clever difference in the numbers appear
in the CBTL art?
As for the location...we
all know that this is Durdle Door, Dorset. And we all know that Publius
mentioned that he was going to guide us towards a landmark. It just
so happens that Durdle Door is a quite famous landmark, a natrual doorway,
or arch on the ocean.
"Because there'll be
no saftey in numbers when the Right One walks out of the door"
Could it be that the "Right One" is simply going to be the one who leaves
the door with the prize? ;) (Durdle Door) Why the door slaming in LFW?
Is there really a womans voice hidden there as the door slams? Is she
saying "the cave"? Is there an actual cave there that can be accessed
by us? Is there a long foot path that will take us to the door? "A long
road lies ahead..begin to chart it's course."
Why all the references to
drowning, in the KT lyrics, the CBTL art, and the Shine on film! Lot's
of things seem to be pointing to this location, and there is only one
way to find out if this is it!
Why Durdle Door?
In the USA tour program
there is a Roman numeral XVII (17). This appears opposite of the photo
of Rick. The drawing is of the stone heads, the XVII appears clearly
on the right edge. Now, the number 17 seems to be coming up a lot! The
significance of it appears to be strong.
Pagenumber 17 is "Coming
Back To Life" in both EMI and Columbia. I really have a strong feeling
that the physical location that needs to be visited is Durdle Door!
There are more clues that have been mentioned that may point to this.
The womans voice in LFW just as the door slams, is she really
saying "The cave"? I think so!
Also, the "dix-neuf" underneath
the Japanese 17 in CBTL. This "dix-neuf" also appears in the silhouette
for KT on page 19 " (dix-neuf, French 19). Look at the lyrics! "I feel
like I'm drowning, you know I can't breath now" And I still think that
Dave sings the words "Where were you" while he uses the voice box during
KT in the Earls Court PPV.
Right or Wrong, Left or
right?
Doing some thinking about
"the Right One" has produced some possible results. Confusing they are...but
they seem to make sense.
Try to follow along...
The CBTL silhouette in the Columbia version is facing to the right,
the smaller EMI CBTL silhouette is facing to the left. Therefore, the
Columbia head would be on the left, and the EMI would be on the right.
See what I mean? This makes the EMI silhouette which faces to the left
"the Right One." As well as the only one that differs in size compared
to all of the others.
Same theory goes for the
boxing gloves, the right one is on the left, and the left one is on
the right! "There'll be no safety in number when the Right One walks
out of the door." The "Right One" as in the smaller EMI page silhouette,
is at the door, Durdle Door. Right + Numbers + Door = Our treasure?
OH...don't forget about
the womans voice saying "the cave" when the door slams in LFW!
Definitions for "right"
"The right bank of a river;
the bank on the right hand of a person whose face is turned in the direction
in which the water runs" The EMI CBTL silhouette!
"The water flowing, the endless river, forever and ever"
And another:
"Right center; those members of a legislative assembly, as in France
who belong to the Center and having sympathies with the Right." Our
three white dots? Hmmm.... In the Columbia version the CBTL silhouette
faces to the right but would actually be standing on the left, it is
in this silhouette where the dix-neuf appears under the regular
Japanese 17, (dix-neuf French!)
Both of the above definitions
appear in my Websters, they appear here in the same order as in the
dictionary! "Wearing The Inside Out" as in reversed! Just as if you
were looking into a mirror.
Where is Durdle Door?
Durdle Door is just a few
kilometers east of Weymouth, very close to West Lulworth and Lulworth
Cove (which is also interesting). What happened to Jon Milton? I think
he's the one who went to Durdle Door not so long ago. But he did not
visit the exact site in question. I heard it's sort of hard to get to.
I have learned that the door is not accessible by car, it can be reached
only on foot. You have to walk about a mile or so to get to it. Then
from there you can walk along the shore to the door it's self. Somewhere
around there our prize could be hidden. It is in no way out of the realm
of possibilities, therefore it should be considered as the next location
to be visited and searched.

pictures of this area, I'll be pleased to receive it)
