The FAQ was originally broken down into four sections. However it was obvious to me as I was rewriting this FAQ that the size of a couple of the sections were way too big for easy web browsing. In addition a few questions needed to be rearranged (both in section and in order). The sections have been reorganized as follows.
- Original section 1 has been split into section 1, 2, and 3. Also, some topics have been moved to section 7
- Original section 2 is now section 4
- Original section 3 is now section 5
- Original section 4 has been split into section 6 and 7 and some questions have been moved to the one of the first three sections.
-
- The first section includes stuff like books, Fanzines, etc.
-
- The second section includes RoIO information, setlists, rumors, etc.
-
- The third section is general information concerning the albums, and includes stuff like rare singles, artwork variations, etc.
-
- The fourth section covers their "early years," that is, The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn through Obscured By Clouds
-
- The fifth section is the "glory years." This section covers Dark Side Of The Moon through The Wall.
-
- The sixth section covers The Final Cut through The Division Bell and the various solo albums
-
- The seventh section is filled with general trivia -- albums, fleudian slips, etc.
In addition to these seven parts, there is the
"Pink Floyd Internet Reference List",
which details how to access various other Internet sources of Floyd
information, such as FTP sites, WWW servers, IRC channels, Usenet newsgroups,
and the Echoes mailing list.
