Not much change, huh?

I'll write this homepage in English since it has been my official "working" language for a long time and old habits die hard. Maybe some day i'll wize up and write them in Norwegian. Previously I have worked for 5 1/2 years as a Unix Systems Administrator at the OECD Halden reactor project.

On the 20th of May 1997 I started working here at IFI.

I studied at the Østfold Regional College and am a small bit proud of having started the first unix server there run by the students. I named it frodo.

Currently i'm working with all of the Institutes' Indy's. I also work on integrating Linux into the IFI environment.

Sometimes you can find me on Discworld.

I got my first easter egg from SGI along with a ticket to Jurassic Park II.

I currently share my office with Tux.

Tux is happy that the 2.2 Linux kernel is out. We celebrated with a soft drink. (Penquins are bad at drinking alcohol.)

If you would like to have a look and see if I am in my office or what TV program is showing on my computer screen right now, click here.
A more comprehensive page of picture captures from my workstation can be found here.

Other fun stuff you can find here is a link to the page with The best/worst of MIDIA

My pirate name is:
Mad Tom Kidd
Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!
