| City Language" is an ongoing project where I try to interprete how Oslo is expressed through its buildings, parks, rubbish, and street art. The camera is used to unfold the semiotic component of structures, spaces, objects and signs placed or left in the urban landscape. The sum of these part, I feel, makes up a special "language" that identifies the city as an experience, and Oslo as a location. Of particular interest is the way individuals and groups populate public spaces and private property with their own expressions and art. |
