Pioneering the independant cassette revolution during the 80s, we are slowly re-mastering our catalogue to CD. We aim to spread the gospel of the CHAOS familiy bands; THE SMELL OF INCENSE, FAMLENDE FORSØK, MYSTICK SISTERS, FAT FLABBY AND + others, on our own label & through sympathetic labels like SEPTEMBER GURLS RECORDS. Debut album by this poetry combo. A bit like FF at the outset, but soon turned into something

completely different. Sort of theatrical world music with folky elements. ”These 5 dilletants have successfully created a few beautiful moods beyond words” (Folk & Røvere 88).

LP based upon the theme of alchemy. ”With this release FF have delevoped into a powerful, dark entertaining force, full of astonishing sounds & an infinite well of creative chaos” (Puls 90). ”FF is something so rare as a band with a multitude of ideas & patience enough to work them into something that sounds complete” (Rock Furore 90). Rediscoved a few years later: ”The album is a very original & bizarre soundscape of organic & electronic harmonies. It’s got nothing to do with rock or pop, but offers an uncompromising mixture of pagan atmospheres, turning into a real psychedelic gem, given the right circumstances” (Crohinga Well 93). Re-release of a collection compiled for the SOUND OF PIG MUSIC label in US 89. There are no new tracks here, but all songs (except 1) have been slightly altered from the original versions. ”A brilliant avant garde, ambient, electronic ensemble. Very much recommended” (Crohinga Well 95). For those unaquainted with the band or for the serious collector…you’ll simply need the smell of this herring!

Sadly, this pop-prog-jazz influenced ensemble is long disbanded, but not before documenting their clever music with a Crawling Chaos release. Feuturing Zetlitz of COALMINE 5 & DØVE MUNKER fame. They wrote their own material, employing lyrics from established authors. Definitely the most accessible music on this label.

We proudly present the crazy american Zan Hoffman, known to FF fans for his participation on SHiT 017 & his one-man band BODYCOCTAIL. By his own description ”Whimsy, goodtime, often autbiographical songs, to be served as a good stiff drink for the ears, mind & soul”. ”At his most whimsically & melodically – and best if you ask me – Zan’s songs remind me of Syd Barrett’s solo stuff, and even the naïvity of Jonathan Richman” (Luna Kafe 02). Zan is running the world’s most productive underground label and the man himself is beyond doubt the most communicative in the known universe. From his vast catalogue he has not only collected, but totally re-recorded a bunch of songs for CC. If Zan’s music leaves you with a big, happy grin, then this label is for you!

Fame & wealth with the successful FAMLENDE FORSØK was never enough for ChrispH. Down through the years from 85 – 02 blasphemous light & eerie, nightly noises have been observed from the high tower containing his mad scientist laboratory. Here he has been cooking up weird concoctions with one single aim in mind; to archieve world domination! The music, most of it  purely instrumental, defies all attempts of categorization, ranging from ambient space to weird jazz to harsh industrial to twisted world music. ”It’s a one-of-a-kind album. FF’s obsession with horror writer H. P. LOVECRAFT has been with them since the band was formed in 81.The earliest sounds for this tribute album dates from 88 onwards. After several Lovecraftian live shows, the project archieved myth status,thought by fans to be another hairy-fairy lost project, when  the completed work was presented in 02. On vinyl LP in colourful cover by GUNHILDE LANGERUD on SEPTEMBER GURLS & available on CD in more modest cover on CC. ”Sometimes progressive, sometimes atmospheric, FF offers you the Beginners Guide to H. P. L. Gibbering madly in the darkness Cthulhu calls you to this album. You MUST obey, or fear a long and painful death” (Vital 02). ”After being drawn into the album, it made me seek out the 2nd and 3rd volume of Lovecraft’s Omnibus series; the best recommendation I can possibly give” (Luna Kafe 03).
