I am a professor of general linguistics at the Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies,  University of Oslo. My field of research is the syntax of Norwegian and related languages within generative grammar, especially Lexical Functional Grammar.

For some time, I have been working on the syntax of possessive expressions, reflexives, and body part nouns, as can be seen from the list below. I have also published on surface anaphora, clausal complementation, passive and impersonal sentences, and auxiliaries and light verbs.
