Welcome to my
homepage!
and the Who's
Helle crash course:
ON
APRIL 10, 2007, I STARTED WORKING FOR DET NORSKE VERITAS, AND I AM NO
LONGER AN EMPLOYEE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF OSLO.
I USED TO
work as administrative manager of
the research
centre Physics
of Geological Processes, PGP.
PGP is a cross-disciplinary
physics/geology research centre
at the University
of Oslo.
PGP integrates
fieldwork, laboratory experiments, theory and computer modeling to
reach the
goal of obtaining a fundamental and quantitative understanding of the
Earth’s
complex patterns and processes. PGP is one of 13 Norwegian Centres of
Excellence financed by the Norwegian Research Council.
Before I came to
PGP in 2003, I worked for the
consulting firm
Accenture for 6 years, dealing with organizational development and
performance enhancement.
I've got a Master
in Physics from INSA Toulouse in
France and NTNU in
Trondheim.
My roots
are still the oil capitol of Norway,
Stavanger,
although I have now settled by the foot of the forest in northern
Oslo with my husband and our three children. Here we live in a
squeaking, loveable old house with one small sofa, giant world
maps, 50 teddy bears, 2000 books and about 100 pairs of skis.
And this is where we intend to live happily ever after.

For
the time being, my homepage is only available in English, as I work in
an international environment and expect mainly international visitors
to my homepage. If I am mistaken - about this - or anything else in
this page - please send me an e-mail and let me know!
