The potential of multimodality (stills, live/recorded video-feedback with or without strobe-effect), live performing ability (live operated camera/video-feedback) and generative features (video-feedback) of digital media were applied and explored in this performance to create changing combinations of aesthetics (colour/black-white, static/fluid scenography) and a sensible fluid pace at play with light, music and movements. As light, movement and camera movements together generate video-feedback, the variations were multiplied, changing the digital expression every performing evening, only to some extent controllable by the operator. The piece emphasised the analogy between live and recorded material as perceived, and how digital media may be an expressive tool in live performance, creating something in between mode-stage-lighting and a movie.
