MatPIV is an easy to use PIV program. As the source code is supplied it provides a friendly starting point for the new to PIV, and a good place to start a more thorough exploration for the "not so new". Since MatPIV is written in the MATLAB language it is straigth forward to add user written parts and thereby extend MatPIV's capabililties. Furthermore the scripting posibillities in MATLAB makes it easy to batch-process huge amounts of data automatically.
