Bontmia (Backup Over Network To Multiple Incremental Archives)

Bontmia is a network-based backup tool that saves configurable numbers of last month, week, day, hour, and minute backups. Each backup is a complete snapshot of the original directories, and only new and changed files are stored when generating snapshots. Remote access is implemented using ssh.

Computerized information handling

Computers handling of information fascinates me. There is a big step between storing a paper to storing the information in it. Abstractions and reasons is only stored in the latter. I have looked into datastructures for storing the information and retrieve it by querying. How to build the datastructures from data have been the biggest problem. Simulations of group interactions

To even do small scale simulations of groups of people one have to get to the core of reason. I believe that interaction is the most important part. Interaction between large groups minimize the fluctuations of individuals. It should therefore be possible to make a ruleset for interaction between groups with different ideas, beliefs and other attributes such as gender and physical appearance.
