Oh Yes!
There is nothing (except for a real cinema), that can measure up to a
home-cinema! I just love to watch movies on my system.
For the moment it consists of the following components:
Amp:
Sony SD-830 Surround Receiver. (5x100W+sub)
Subwoofer:
Yamaha JA385C element in a homemade 140 liter case.
Driven by a separate amp. For the moment an old Nikko that I had lying
around. It should have been a Sanyo P55 amp, but it has some serious
problems :-(
DVD:
Pioneer 16X (In silent mode). Sound coupled to the DB-830 by digital coaxial cable :-)
Tuner:
Force D-Master 1133s (Digital)
Projector:
Philips ProScreen 4100.
This baby only has a resolution of 800x600 pixels, but that's perfect for TV and
DVD. It has Composite & S-VHS inputs, in addition to two data
inputs. It is positioned in the ceiling about 2.5 meters from the screen
and gives a beautiful 83" picture.
Screen:
An old overhead-screen my dad was going to throw away...
I want a motorized
one :-)
