Research interests:

I am involved in several projects at CEES on terrestrial and marine ecosystems. In the projects we analyse biological and environmental time series statistically. Our aim with the analyses is to make general inferences about the dynamics of the populations and the role of climate and other forcing mechanisms in influencing these dynamics. Presently, the work focuses on interactions between zooplankton, fish and climate in the Barents Sea, with the ultimate aim of contributing to improved predictions of the likely long-term ecological effects of possible acute oil spills.
