I study the design and use of information and communication technology in medicine, drawing upon methodological and theoretical approaches from the research fields of IS (Information Systems), CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work), and STS (Science and Technology Studies), in particular focusing on information infrastructures.
My PhD dissertation: Cultivating Networks: Implementing Surgical Telemedicine can be found here (pdf).
