The outer atmosphere of Alpha Tau

My studies of the outer atmosphere of Alpha Tau have involved numerical models of the chromosphere. I have build a static, 1d, radiative transfer model covering the chromosphere and lower transition region. This reproduces the collisionally excited ultraviolet emission lines. I am now working on a dynamic, 1d radiative-hydrodynamics model.

Simulation of the Stellar Atmospheres

I use for this codes which solve static radiative transfer, radiative hydrodynamics and magneto-hydrodynamics. I am working on improving these codes.
