I am a Research Scientist in the Software Engineering Department at Simula. Prior to joining Simula, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University College London. I received my PhD (2008) and MSc (2003) in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, and my BSc in Software Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (2000).

Research Interests

My research interests are focused on software engineering, and more specifically on model-based development of complex software-intensive systems. My current research is primarily concerned with modelling and analysis of safety-critical embedded software. This work is being conducted in the context of the ModelME! Project - a joint endeavour between Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Simula.
