The Multimedia Communication Laboratory

The Multimedia Communication Laboratory (MMCL) has been established with a focus on the three overlapping areas of distributed multimedia, Internet, and mobility. Due to a lot of personell changes in the years 2000 and 2001, we have refined the research focus of MMCL.

Within the second millenium we emphasis on the systems components in distributed multimedia systems and applications, i.e., communication systems, database systems, and operating systems. We are especially interested in the optimized integration of these subsystems for distributed multimedia applications.
