About me

I am Navneet Kumar Pandey pursuing my final year PhD under the supervision of Prof. Roman Vitenberg and Prof. Frank Eliassen at the Networks and Distributed Systems research group at the Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo. Prior to my PhD, I finished my Masters in Network and Database security at the Department of Computer Science, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

Research interests

My main research interests are event-based distributed systems primarily in publish/subscribe communication paradigm. In particular, I'm interested in developing techniques to minimize the communication cost while enabling distributed aggregation system over publish/subscribe systems. Currently, I am working on adaptive pub/sub system. My other research area includes machine learning and network security.
