Current work:

I am heading the department-wide research and innovation programme in information and communication technology for development (ICT4D) and will be involved in the new national OpenBio project headed by UiO.

Special areas of interest:

  • Open collaboration on the Internet
  • The use of open source software in the public domain
  • The potential of modern information and communication technology (ICT) in promoting sustainable economic growth in developing and emerging economies
  • Innovation related the production of open content and open fabrication
