Geothermal energy project
We got funding to model fluid-rock interaction in a geothermal system, in cooperation with the Institute of Applied Mathmatics

LATEST RESULTS
New papers One paper on mantle phase transitions in rift basins and 2 on ultra-refractory mantle xenoliths

PETROBAR started
Julia Semprich started as a PhD student in the PETROBAR project. So we are up and running!
We will present first results at the ICAM in Tromsų in September 2007.
Kaapvaal paper published
My paper 'The origin and evolution of the Kaapvaal cratonic lithospheric mantle' finally came out in Journal of Petrology.

PETROBAR approved!
The research council of Norway (NFR) is going to fund the project "Petroleum related studies
in the Barent Sea region" (PETROBAR) starting by the end of 2006. PGP contributes with 1
Postdoc and a PhD position. More information coming soon.
Thermodynamix workshop
We managed to add Cr to the Holland & Powell database and produce cool (and correct) mantle phase diagrams.
