Short Biography I received M.Sc. in November 2006 in electronics engineering from AGH-University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland. Since 2007 I pursued my doctoral degree in computer science in the Distributed Multimedia Systems research group of the University of Oslo. In 2011, I defended my thesis for the doctoral degree: "CacheCast: a system for efficient single source multiple destination data transfer".
Research Content delivery systems:
  • CacheCast - the link layer solution for the longstanding problem of multicast in the Internet (the basic idea appeared at ICDCS 2010, see below in Publications)
  • Functional Benchmarking of Content Distribution
  • P2P content delivery systems
Publications CacheCast: Eliminating Redundant Link Traffic for Single Source Multiple Destination Transfers [DOI], P. Srebrny, T. Plagemann, V. Goebel, and A. Mauthe, ICDCS'10, Genoa, Italy.

Demo SPP: A Demonstrator for A Scalable P2P VoD Infrastructure [DOI], (poster), P. Srebrny, K.-A. Skevik, T. Plagemann, V. Goebel, ACM MM'07, Augsburg, Germany.
