Research
activities and achievements:
The
major scientific contribution has been related to studies on absorption,
transport, storage and function of retinoids (vitamin A), dietary
antioxidants and their role in oxidative stress related diseases, as well as
molecular imaging in transgenic reporter mice. About 200 papers in refereed
journals including Science, Proc Natl Acad Sci USA (3x),
