Time to be excellent

There is nothing like the green green grass of "home", but sometimes you need to leave your safe home and take some risks....

Today I decided to leave my "safe haven" at The University of Oslo, where I have been studying and working since the autumn of 1990.

I have just signed a contract to become Administrative Director of a Norwegian Centre of Excellence: "Centre for Software components for biomedical flows" at Simula Research Laboratory AS. I expect that I will have a couple of busy months finishing of my old projects at the University of Oslo, before I start in my new position.

One month left

One month left, and so much to do. Fortunately spring has arrived early, and since I am (mostly) working by solar power my work is speeding up. I look forward to start working at the CoE (Centre of Excellence), but I will miss seeing my good friends and colleagues at IFI on a day to day basis.
