My research interests are related to organizational and socio-technical aspects of software development and how software development can be improved. I have got funding for and worked in several European and National software process improvement projects with researchers from SINTEF, NTNU, the University of Oslo, and the Simula research laboratory. The main parts of these projects have been action research with more than 30 companies. I have been particularly concerned with providing rigorous research results on topics of importance to the software industry. I have focused on the following themes:

Organizational issues in software process improvement
