Above all - what got me through the decadent late 1980's and the 1990's was three things; namely good music in general, cartoon artwork and other types of graphical novels - and of course having some wonderful friends (as well as a couple of lovely girlfriends I will never forget).

In my view, one of the spirited cartoon characters that can adequately describe my own "being" through the 90's, is perhaps Arne the "Duckling" drawn by the Swedish artist Charlie Christensen a.k.a. Alexander Barks. So in pure homage to Mr. Christensen (and to Arne Anka of course, as well as to Mr. Barks - or really, both of them as well...) ...anyway, I have made this page where you can find out more about this witty drunken unemployed poet duckling. The main drawback perhaps, is that most of it is in Swedish (or any other Scandinavian language...). Well, without further ado, simply enjoy:
