Vinay setty

I recently moved to Aalborg University, Denmark as an Assistant Professor, for more up to date information checkout my new home page here

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Max-Planck Insitute for Informatics, Germany. I defended my PhD dissertation at Networks and Distributed Systems group, Department of Informatics, University of Oslo. My advisor was Prof. Roman Vitenberg, Professor, University of Oslo. And I was co-advised by Prof. Maarten van Steen, professor at Department of Informatics, VU University Amsterdam.  My latest research area broadly includes overlay design and data dissemination for large scale distributed systems especially for Pub/Sub systems, and also application of pub/sub to distributed social networks.
